DescriptionEuralens is the incubator of projects and laboratories of the former mining basin around the city of Lens (north of France, 250 000 inhabitants, UNESCO World Heritage). It gathers 70 businesses, civic associations and public authorities to play a key role in transforming the territory into a smart area focused on digital image and creative industries. Euralens fosters local and international initiatives that allow for innovation in urbanism and culture.
Euralens aims at:
- using mobile technologies as a way of making headway in every aspect of city life,
- developing new technologies in the fields of culture and smart cities
